But at SKOT, we’ve been doing things differently for years.
And this year is no exception.

On Black Friday, our webshop is closed.

Not because we don’t want orders.
Not because we want to ignore the hype.
But because we believe in clothing that is made — and bought — with intention.

The day when “more” becomes the norm

Black Friday has become the symbol of extreme consumption.
People buy things they don’t need, clothes they won’t wear, products that end up in the back of a closet within a month.

It may sound harsh, but it’s the reality of the fashion industry.

An industry that produces more than the planet can handle, faster than anyone can use it, and often under conditions no one should accept.

And that is exactly what SKOT aims to change.

We make clothes to last longer — not to sell faster

Our clothing doesn’t come from a rushed supply chain built on low wages, cheap fabrics, and endless production runs.
For us, it’s all about craftsmanship, honest materials, and a supply chain that makes sense — from the cotton farmers to the coconut or Tagua nut buttons.

And you can feel that.

And that’s exactly why we choose to speak up by stepping back on the world’s biggest shopping day.

Black Friday is all about more stuff.
SKOT is about less, but better.

By closing for a day, we want to remind you of one thing:
